Wine Review: This straw colored Gavi opens with a wet stone, green apple and almond bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and has very friendly acidity. The flavor profile features a saline and minerality blend along with notes of lime and yellow grapefruit. I also detected hints of quince, honeydew melon and almond. The finish is dry and pleasantly refreshing. I would pair this very nice Gavi with trout almondine. Enjoy – Ken
